Mother’s day is celebrated in most kindergartens and primary schools with a little show on/around the first Monday of May. Valentine’s Day and Halloween have became popular commercial holidays. There are many free programmes for children on Children’s Day, tha last Sunday of May. Santa Claus comes to children on 6 December, when they get chocolate, sweets, nuts and oranges both at home and at kindergarten/school. At Easter the ‘Rabbit’ brings sweets, usually chocolate eggs. Most children up to age 5-6 believe both Santa Claus and the Rabbit exist.
