Yes, you are entitled to a monthly family allowance in accordance with the income and wealth limits indicated in the previous answer and depending on the number of children and their age.
If you have a child aged 12 months or less you receive monthly at least € 18.91 and a maximum of € 146.42
Children between the ages of 12 and 36 months:
1 child: minimum € 18.91 maximum € 73.21
2 children: minimum € 18,91 maximum € 109,81
3 children: minimum € 18,91 maximum € 146,41
In case of extreme poverty, you may also apply for the Social Integration Allowance (€ 183.84/month with an addition for each minor child or member of the family), assigned not only to Portuguese citizens but also to:
Citizens belonging to the European Union, European Economic Area and third countries which have an agreement on the free movement of persons within the European Union - must be legally resident in Portugal.
Citizens of other countries - have to have legal residence in Portugal for at least one year.
Citizens with refugee status - must be legally resident.
