Religious education is a regular subject with transfer-relevant grading and obligatory for all pupils of the religious believe. Those students who are deregistered from religious education have to attend the alternative subject ethics, if the school offers this subject. From the age of 14, your child decides for himself or herself whether to take part in religious education or an alternative offer.
