It is normal and common for children to get homework. Homework serves to deepen the subject by working on tasks independently. In all-day schools, there is often a time scheduled during class time for the processing of homework, so that the children have to do little and no homework after leaving school. Homework should always be designed to be done in a reasonable time. In primary school a recommendation applies of 30 to max. 60 minutes a day, in the 5th and 6th class 90 minutes / day, in the 7th to 10th classes 120 minutes / day, from the 11th class to 180 minutes / day.
