All school-age children without German language skills are assigned to preliminary courses, where they receive language lessons. Refugee children and unaccompanied refugee minors receive initial language training in the registration center. These language learning courses are free. In regular school education, language education and language support are systematically continued as an integrated measure in primary and secondary schools
