If you have little or no income, you can apply for unemployment benefit II (Hartz IV) or social assistance. Job center or social services pay expectant mothers after the twelfth week of pregnancy, an additional need and the initial equipment for pregnancy and baby.
The Federal Foundation "Mother and Child - Protection of Unborn Life" helps pregnant women in need quickly and unbureaucratically by providing additional financial support in connection with individual counseling. Pregnant women in need can receive donations if they do not have enough money to cover the costs of pregnancy, childbirth and the subsequent care and upbringing of the child. The application for financial assistance from the Federal Foundation for Mother and Child must be submitted to a pregnancy advice center before the birth of the child.
