There are a number of vaccinations during the first year that children usually get in Germany: Rotaviral infection, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Hepatitis B, pneumococci. In their second year, children usually get vaccinations for: measles, parotitis, rubella, chickenpox, meningococcal. A lifelong refreshing for Diphtheria and Tetanus is recommended. The first should be after 5 years, the second between the age of nine and seventeen, the following every ten years.
