The communication paths between home and school vary depending on the school. There are notebooks in which parents and teachers exchange messages, or teachers indicate a phone number or e-mail address below which they can be reached. Information from the school for all parents is usually given by school letters to parents. Direct communication between parents and school or between parents and teachers takes place at special parents speaking days or on agreed dates.
