It is not expected to dress up or decorate in any special way. The Danes, however, like it when everyone participates in the celebrations at the workplace or in school.
In December are there a lot of fireworks, and on New Years Eve, everyone is allowed to set off fireworks. Numerous public places do firework shows at midnight on this day.
