With mandatory health insurance, patients are free to choose their own pediatricians/ medical professionals and places of treatment. Children ages 12-16 can get regular check-ups with the doctor the parents choose.
During primary and secondary education the school will ensure that each child gets check-up, parents will receive the report from this afterwards. They will get 2 check ups per cycle (kindergarten, primary and secondary school).
