Are there regular health checks that my child is entitled to?
Belgium
English
Do you have a child aged 0-3 or expecting a baby?

From the birth, the child will receive regular check ups until the age of 6. The baby will also receive the vaccinations recommended by the doctors until the age of 16 for free. The early check-ups are also free of charge and usually delivered by ONE, the Office for Birth and Childhood in the French community and Kind en Gezin in Flanders. At the hospital you will be given the information about these. If the baby was not born in Belgium, ask the health department of the Commune where you live regarding this issue.
