There are some variations between schools but a school day normally begins around 08:20 for all age groups. Secondary schools usually finish around 16:15.
On Wednesdays, most schools finish at noon.
During the school day, a break will be given both before and after noon as well as a long lunch break where students can either eat a school meal, their packed lunch or in some schools go home to eat.
