  • January 6th: Epiphany/Three Kings Day (Children go from house to house singing the Epiphany song dressed up as the Three Wise Men)

  • December 6: Saint Nicholas/Sinterklaas (Similar to Santa at Christmas, Children receive gifts from Saint Nicholas)

  • December 24th and 25th (Christmas): The Christmas Eve is a family celebration but also includes its highlights in public. Some go to midnight mass, others gather at midnight on the street. This is the case on the main square in Brussels, where, regardless of the climate, thousands of people attend the illumination of tens of thousands of candles at midnight.

  • Easter Sunday is an opportunity for the children to make an "egg hunt". In addition, on Easter, children paint and decorate cooked eggs
