Do you have a child aged 0-3 or expecting a baby?

The family can also order up to 2000 vouchers (titres services) per year at the price of 9 euros (instead of 400) to get support. For more information: https://phare.irisnet.be/aides-%C3%A0-l-inclusion/sant%C3%A9-et-bien-%C3%AAtre/titres-services/

Social workers from ONE and Kind & Gezin can be approached for these issues. You can contact them for a consultation, home visit and they will offer support and knowledge on the development of the child and share their knowledge on the psycho-medico-social network according to the needs and demands of your child.

The DG People with a Handicap can be contacted to receive a certificate recognizing the handicap of your child in order to obtain a BIM status (Bénéfice d’une Intervention Majorée de l’inami) so you can potentially receive increased child allowances (this increase will not be paid by the DG but by the social security fund or child allowance fund).

In Wallonia, The Agence Wallonne pour l’intégration des Personnes Handicapées (AWIPH) provides aid with school if the child is not in special education and also provides aid for functional rehabilitation, material and technical aid, home support, and family support.

In Brussels, the Personne Handicapée Autonomie Recherchée (PHARE) provides these same services.

Provinces usually provide initiatives to support children with disabilities and their families. Many of their services are free. It might be useful to contact your province or check their website. Communes offer similar services and often refer you to a  specific person to contact that is responsible for citizens with disabilities within the commune.
