Are there any general provisions or extra support if my child is disabled or has special needs?

Do you have a child aged 0-3 or expecting a baby?

Up to 21 years of age, children with disabilities may receive additional family allowances where:

- the disability has physical or mental consequences;

- disability affects the child's daily activities (mobility, learning ability, personal hygiene, etc.);

- disability has consequences for the household (medical treatment, necessary travel, adaptation of the environment, ...).

- They are paid by your family allowance fund or your social insurance fund
