It is highly advisable for a child at this age (6-10) to be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons. Although, this is an issue to discuss with your child depending where she school is, the maturity of your child etc. If the child leaves the school alone parents need to provide a certificate to the school principal allowing him/ her to exit ths school alone.
