The class planner includes the subjects and assignments (exercises or lessons) to be performed at home and the information that the teacher wishes to pass on to the parents about their child. It is for this reason that parents are asked to consult it every day. For parents, the class planner is an important communication link with the school (message intended for the teacher, request for appointments, etc.) and is a valuable source of information on the evolution, experience and evaluation of the student in his or her school. In primary education, teachers can also use a communication booklet (or communication file) to communicate information to the parents or insert notes in the backpack of their child. In some schools, communication may occur via email, telephone or similar. Please check with your child’s teacher how do they usually communicate with parents.

There are usually, parents meetings organised with the teacher and the principal of the school in the beginning of the school year.
